In my humble opinion, it is pertinent to have a delicious, filling, high-protein shake recipe at all times. Whether you want to have this for a smaller meal, a dessert, or a preworkout carb boost, smoothies are a great way to pack in nutrients, hit your fiber goal, and fuel your body in an incredible way.
I love to play around with smoothie ingredients, changing up the protein powder I use (if I use it), the fruits I add, and the flavor profiles of the smoothie. But I found that this one hits the spot and tastes so good every single time.
Give it a try. Itās nothing groundbreaking, but it works for me. Buon Appetito!
MACROS:
CALORIES: 345 calories
PROTEIN: 49 grams
CARBOHYDRATES: 35 grams
FAT: 1 gram
FIBER: 7 grams !!!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup organic mixed berry blend (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
2 scoops (12 grams) organic grassfed bovine collagen (I use the one from Anthonyās!)
1 scoop grassfed vanilla protein powder (I like Equip Prime Protein)
150 grams Fage non-fat plain greek yogurt
15 grams (about 2) organic pitted medjool dates
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon organic ceylon cinnamon
1-2 tablespoons organic monkfruit sweetener
Sprinkle of sea salt
Optional: tablespoon of cocoa powder
1/2 cup of water
