Strawberry Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake

I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a protein smoothie before this one. I used to make them all the time and literally gag and dump them down the drain because they were just horrendous. The protein would be so grainy and taste too much like protein, the fruit would never blend well, and then I would be at square one with trying to hit my protein goals. I love Fairlife Shakes and already-made, pre-packaged protein shakes, but sometimes those are expensive and the craving hits for a thick smoothie. And, I also have a ton of protein powder that needs to get used up.
The key is honestly the type and brand of protein powder, and ever since I switched to legion, my protein smoothies are better than ever (no this is not an ad or anything—I wish, though! Legion Athletics, I am begging of you, please sponsor me!) The chocolate peanut butter cup flavor of their whey protein is absolutely delicious and blends surprisingly well for a protein powder. As soon as you open the container, it smells like a Reese's.
This was such a delicious treat after a hot hot day at the beach. A seagull ended up taking a bite out of my wrap and that’s all I had with me to eat, so this smoothie was a very filling snack after that debacle and before dinner time, and super summery! Having a staple protein shake recipe is important for times where maybe you need to make breakfast quick before school or work, or you’re low on protein by the end of the night, and this one genuinely tasted so good and the protein blended seamlessly!
