Snickers Dates

I debated even writing this recipe out because, in reality, there is no recipe. These are the simplest treats ever and that's precisely why I make them so often.

I've gotten so many DMs and comments about wanting a recipe for the exact things I use and here it is. Bring these to work, gift them to people, keep them stocked in the freezer for when you need a healthier sweet treat... these really are the perfect treat and I will never not have these in my freezer.

Andiamo!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Organic Pitted Medjool Dates

  • Organic, All-Natural Smooth Peanut Butter (I prefer the Kirkland brand)

  • Sugar-free Dark Chocolate Chips (I prefer Lily's)

  • Flaky Maldon Sea Salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Take your pitted date and slice it down the middle.

  2. Add about 1 teaspoon of smooth peanut butter evenly through the middle of the date.

  3. Add about 3-4 chocolate chips on top of the peanut butter.

  4. Sprinkle generously with sea salt and you're done.

  5. Place all of your snickers dates in a tupperware, and it is recommended (by me of course) to freeze them AT LEAST 2-3 hours before eating. I keep them stocked up in my freezer and like to make them fresh the day before gifting them to people so the peanut butter isn't too frozen.
