Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day, and while I typically like to eat the same breakfast every day, it's nice to switch things up once in a while.
I cannot stress enough how important the air fryer is to college students, and how much time it has saved me. I make a lot of my protein in the air fryer and it takes half the time, and it is a much healthier alternative to frying things in oil and a lot faster than turning on the conventional oven and waiting over 30 minutes for something to cook when it can take 10 minutes instead. And a bonus is that everything gets super crispy!
When you're busy in college, it can feel like there are not enough hours in the day, and the first thing to be sacrificed are healthy, filling meals. Well, there is nothing more important than eating right and fueling for your busy days, so let this sausage egg and cheese burrito be the way you start your mornings!

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lavash wrap/flatbread
- 3 amylu chicken breakfast sausages
- 2 whole eggs
- 105 grams egg whites
- peppers and onions
- 14 grams fat free cheddar cheese
- 1 laughing cow light swiss wedge
DIRECTIONS:
Air fry your chicken breakfast sausages on a wire rack at 400 degrees for about 9-10 minutes. When done, set aside and chop into bite-size pieces.
Heat up your lavash flatbread in a toaster and when warm, spread laughing cow wedge in the middle of the flatbread.
Scramble 105 grams of egg whites and 2 eggs in a bowl and season according to your preference.
In a sprayed pan, saute some frozen peppers and onions with salt and pepper until cooked through.
Add your scrambled egg mix and cook thoroughly.
Add shredded cheese to cooked scrambled eggs and remove from heat.
Now time to assemble: place your scrambled egg mixture in the middle of your lavash flatbread, and then add your sausage, and roll up into a burrito.
Spray your wrapped burrito with cooking spray and air fry at max crisp (450) for about 4 minutes, or until outside gets nice and crispy. I served mine with a side of salsa, and it was perfect!
