Even as the weather changes and summer fades out, my love for ice cream never wanes. But, as someone who tries to be mindful of her ingredients and her macros, it's not optimal for me to hit up the ice cream shop every time I want a sweet treat. Thankfully, the Ninja Creami exists and I love to use it :)
I used to make a lot of "protein ice cream" with yogurt and cottage cheese, but sometimes, after a full day of eating, a big cup of dairy before bed doesn't sit well with me. Too heavy and a little too sour to feel like ice cream, I started wondering how else I could prepare a delicious protein ice cream.
I normally don't use protein powders, but ever since I wanted to start making these ninja creamis without yogurt, I decided to try out Levels Protein. THANKFULLY I DID!!! I'm not being facetious or exaggerative when I say that I love this protein powder, and they have been the best addition to my yogurt bowls, cottage cheese bowls, protein ice creams, and easy on-the-go shakes.
The macronutrient profile is excellent, it's not chalky at all, the taste is delicious yet subtle, and, most importantly, it's light on the tummy! A lot of times, even grassfed whey has the tendency to not digest well and sit like a rock in my stomach, but not these protein powders from Levels.
I strongly suggest you test out this recipe yourself, AND I urge you even stronger to use Levels to do so. The taste is unmatched and I promise you'll love how this Levels protein powder ice cream makes you feel and makes you look :) Andiamo!
