I've said it before and I'll say it forever: funfetti/birthday cake/cake batter is the best flavor of just about everything. Ice cream, cake, cookies, cupcakes, and now, protein pancakes! Something I've also said countless times is how much I hate protein powder, but I'm not letting expensive protein powder go to waste, so I am trying to figure out creative ways to incorporate it into my sweet treats so that I use it all up while hitting my goals and making room for a better powder.
Before I started tracking my calories and macros, I used to make all sorts of fake pancakes that consisted of copious amounts of oatmeal and bananas, and they obviously never tasted like pancakes. I use Kodiak Cakes pretty often in my breakfasts/sweet treats because they are a fun and protein-filled carb that I can pair with my breakfast staples such as egg whites, turkey bacon, chicken sausage, etc. But these pancakes are so far the best homemade ones I've made without a pre-made mix. I really hope you guys enjoy these because I LOVED them! Mind you, this is a pretty big batch and it made me around 6 small to medium pancakes, so feel free to adjust for your preference, but I ate these with a side of turkey bacon and I was stuffed!
