Even when it's cold, I always crave ice cream. It's my favorite dessert, hands down, and the temperature outside could never deter me from eating it!

This isn't a super high-protein recipe, and definitely could be modified by adding protein powder, greek yogurt, etc. but it's a great lower-calorie sweet treat to cap off the night.

CALORIES: 308 calories

PROTEIN: 11.7 grams

CARBOHYDRATES: 33 grams

FAT: 14.5 grams

INGREDIENTS:

- 100 grams frozen banana

- 10 grams organic pbfit powder

- 18 grams all natural peanut butter

- 100 milliliters unsweetened almond milk

- 10 grams sugar-free mini dark chocolate chips

- sweetener of choice (I used sugar free maple syrup)

- handful of ice cups

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a blender, add your frozen banana, pbfit, peanut butter, almond milk, sweetener and ice. Blend until well combined.

  2. In a bowl, add your nice cream and your chocolate chips and freeze until your desired consistency. Thawing at least 5-10 minutes before eating is recommended!
