In my house, I am always the one marinating and coming up with different dressings. Whether it to be steak, chicken, salmon, I am always trying to create lucrative and delicious marinades. This one, in particular, is one of my favorites. It's simple yet so savory and most of the ingredients will almost always be in your fridge or pantry.
I love salmon, but to eat salmon the exact same way every week gets a little boring. The same thing goes for vegetables. String beans are good, but how good can they be when they're being boiled and sprinkled with salt? Sometimes, all you need is a creative dressing to elevate the dish from a boring "meal prep" kind of dinner to one you would pay big money for at a restaurant. And this is one of my dinners, one that I actually enjoyed this evening, that makes me feel like I am at a restaurant.

INGREDIENTS:
8 ounces atlantic salmon
2 cups string beans
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
2 garlic gloves, minced
Salt and pepper
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
RECIPE:
Combine soy sauce, dijon mustard, worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, garlic, and seasonings in a cup and whisk until everything comes together. Reserve half of mixture for your salmon and half of mixture for your string beans.
Drizzle your salmon with half of the soy garlic dressing mixture.
Preheat your air fryer or oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for three minutes. When finished, place aluminum foil on the bottom and place your salmon. Cook salmon for 11-14 minutes, depending on your preference.
Boil your string beans until cooked through. Drizzle with the rest of the dressing and add some sesame seeds on top.
Plate your salmon and string beans. Add a carbohydrate, such as rice, and in this case, I added a baked potato (not included in macros).
CLOSING
All of these ingredients might sound odd together, but they taste absolutely delicious when mixed together to create this creative marinade. My favorite way to enjoy salmon is a classic lemon and garlic recipe, but this sesame soy salmon is slowly creeping up to first place. The marinade takes less than five minutes, salmon cooks slowly, and adding a carb just amplifies this meal even more. As always, please share with me if you decide to try. See you all next time!
